A thermistor is a "thermally sensitive resistor". It is a widely used fundamental electrical component. A thermistor is sensitive and reasonably priced. It does not require the cold junction of a thermocouple, and it is generally faster than Platinum RTD.

Epoxy Bead - Probe Style 1

Recommended for air streams: Probe Styles 76, 176, 64, 188; or a threaded metal sensor. (Also see the new Sensor Assemblies 197 or 200.)

Custom built sensor housings and lead lengths can be provided for volume orders.

Availability: Most Probe Styles are available for both the TS67 Series and the TS136 Series sensors. The TS136 Series sensors have a much better Interchangeability Tolerance. New RoHS Compliant versions have "TR" prefix instead of "TS" and may replace the conventional sensor. Some of the listed sensors are already available only in the RoHS compliant version.
